Archaeological Excavation Sites in China

Inspired after watching “The Lost City of Jinsha” on History channel, I decided to share some images on archaeological excavation sites. Note that some pictures show excavated relics from Ling Jia Tan in the Anhui province. Most notably the GARGANTUAN Jade Pig-Dragon (Zhu Long) measuring 72 cm in length and weighing 88 kg!

For the adventurous and history buffs, do make a trip to Chengdu, Sichuan province in China, which serves as a central point to visit two massive settlements of the Shang Dynasty and Shu Kingdom – The Lost City of Jinsha and Sanxingdui.
